	Transition Towns Kapiti's goal is "to advance the transition of Kapiti communities to greater local resilience to offset current global challenges such as oil scarcity & environmental degradation." We aim to do this by raising awareness of the need to transition, networking so that skills and resources are shared, hosting workshops which present ways to live with reduced energy & consumption

Hi all, we're trundling along and have reached the next step in Transition, forming subgroups. A number of people have put their hand up to help run groups for Transition Towns Kapiti. Some of these TTK Action Groups are up and running. The best way to join Transitioin Towns is to join one or more of subgroups and lend us your knowledge and passion for doing.
